Words cannot express how grateful I am to Acadiana Area Career College and its talented staff. My experience with their phlebotomy program was incredible! The outstanding staff helped me to successfully graduate from their program while simultaneously continuing my medical biology degree at ULL. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate my situation and ensure that I would have a successful experience. The instructors, Ms. Latasha and Dr. Blanchard, did a phenomenal job both thoroughly and consistently covering every relevant topic in phlebotomy. The instructors are wholeheartedly committed to your success and take their time to ensure that every student is fully prepared to be successful in their field. The superb level of education and hands-on training I received at Acadiana Area Career College more than adequately prepared me to have a successful clinical experience. While I watched students from other schools struggle to keep up during clinicals, I was so grateful that I chose Acadiana Area Career College for my education.

Hello! My name is Lainey and I am an Acadiana Area Career College Graduate. The first person I got to know was Mr. John, the director. He truly cares about each and every student that walks in and out the door. I have reached out numerous times after graduation and he has helped me with no hesitation. I began my journey taking the EKG Technician Course and from the first day to the last day my experience was amazing, My Professors were Dr. Blanchard and Mrs. Latasha and I couldn't have asked for better. They take pride in their work and want to see their students succeed in the class but also in their careers. Upon graduation I took the Certification Exam and passed, I then went on to take the Medical Insurance and coding class with Mrs. Brickey. During the second week of the course we were given the stay at home order but Mrs. Brickey made sure we were nothing short of prepared for finals and Certification Exam. I then started looking for a job and applied to many places I received a call for lake Charles and was offered the job of a Cardiovascular Technician, and I will receive medical assistant training . I would highly Recommend this school to anyone. The staff push their students to be the best they can and are always there to help you every way they can!!

About 4 years ago when my husband got laid off from his job and I was forced to go back to work after being a stay home Mom of 4, Acadiana Area Career College became a viable option for me. The class sizes were small and not intimidating. The staff is very friendly, professional and care about the success of their students. Mr. Jonn and Dr. Blanchard were especially accommodating and knowledgeable in guiding the students to a successful completion of the program they choose. After successfully completing the Phlebotomy Technician program I was offered a job during my clinicals at one of the top hospitals in the Lafayette area! Acadiana Area Career College is a great technical training school for those who are looking to gain an affordable, short and specialized skills in competitive career fields. I am so grateful they were there when I needed a career solution!

This is seriously the best community college I could've ever went to! If anyone is thinking about being a dental assistant, Ms. Melanie is one of the best teachers out there! Really enjoyed the atmosphere

I went to this college back in 2000. This is where I went for phlebotomist and EKG and also medical office. I really learned a lot and I recommend anyone to go to this college!

Acadiana area career college is a wonderful school. The instructor Mrs. Mel is very caring and helpful to get you ready for the future in dental assisting. Hands on learning and encouraging environment. I will forever be thankful for all the learning I obtained at this school. Mrs. Mel is the best and cares about her students. Anyone interested in dental assisting I highly recommend this school.
